RTE’s pilot costume is a real-world example of a real pilot costume.
The costume was originally designed by Michael O’Neill for The Thick of It, and it was made for his character, Michael Keaton.

A pilot costume was not only designed for an actor but for the actor’s costume to look like a real person.
